Dana Spicer Off-Highway Components DivisionThe Components Division produces axles, brakes, transaxles, and powershift transmissions for off-highway vehicles. MDSI's OpenCNC was installed on a Warner Swasey 2SC two-axis lathe at the Statesville, North Carolina plant, as a result of persistent problems with the machine tool's former proprietary black box CNC control. Satisfaction with the machine tool's performance after OpenCNC is 100%.
